Photography

I had developed interest in photography in my early high school years, back in Poland, where me and my friends collected old photo equipment and experimented with black and white photography. In our shared collection we had some old USSR-made cameras, some unique, early 50's top viewfinder SLRs, and also various darkroom equipment.

My first job after collage took me on a road a lot (I worked as a Field Rep for seven years) and wherever I travelled in Canada, USA or Carribean I had my trusted SLR with me. At first if was a German-made, all manual, Praktica. Then, after it was stolen, I bought Canon EOS 630 along with number of lenses.

I tried to hold on to my 35mm film cameras for as long as possible but the convenience and instant gratification of digital photography was eventually too hard to resist. So nowadays I share my passion for photography with my wife and we snap most of our pictures with a small point-and-shoot Canon.

Many more pictures can be found in the Travel(b)log section of the site.

In addition, check out Photos section of Art Sonic Waterworld site, which has a slideshow of photos from Hawaii.
